Privacy policy

KNOWN. is built to Australian Privacy Principles standards. Your reading is private by default and nothing is shared unless you choose to share it. We do not sell your information.

What we collect

Account: your name, email and sign-in details.
Birth details: date, time if known, and place, plus the timezone and coordinates needed for the calculation.
Questionnaire: your selections and anything you choose to write.
Derived information: chart calculations, the evidence behind each insight, and your generated reading.
Payments: Stripe payment and transaction references. We do not store card details.

Sensitive information

We do not ask about health, sexuality or religious beliefs. Free text can still reveal personal things, so writing in your own words needs your separate, unticked consent. Please do not include identifying information about other people.

How your reading is created

KNOWN. combines the information you give us with permitted chart calculations and AI-assisted synthesis guided by our own editorial framework. Your reading is designed for self-reflection, not prediction or diagnosis.

The AI provider does not receive your email, surname, birth place, coordinates or birth time. [To confirm: provider name, processing location, retention, sub-processors, deletion behaviour, and a contract barring training on your inputs.]

How long we keep it

Raw free-text answers are deleted or de-identified [30 days, to confirm] after your reading is created. [Retention for commerce and legal records to be defined.]

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your answers, birth details, reading or whole account at any time from your account or by emailing hello@known.example. You can also ask to see or correct what we hold.
